Yeah… Never, EVER play Monopoly! Unless you want that family bond, endorphins, laughter and fun evaporate faster than an ice cube on the sun. Not only is it the most boring game in existence, it is also the longest one, and if a player loses, he/she just what… twiddles thumbs for an hour or two when the rest continues? That’s less family time. Monopoly is a great game for the mind and when playing with family, it shows who’s the most intelligent with their strategy. Monopoly…the fastest way to kill the mood and create anger, lol. There are plenty of “long games” that promote fun family time. Monopoly only shows who is the most manipulative…not the same as intelligence, lol. It’s ok to like Monopoly, just be realistic in what it’s about. It was also originally created not to teach capitalism, but to discredit it. That’s why it really doesn’t work, and is such an imbalanced game. Try some resource management games if you want that kind of strategy.
